Emitwise at Procurecon EU 2024
In September, Emitwise joined over 350 procurement professionals at ProcureCon EU in Barcelona. This annual event serves as a key forum for industry leaders to tackle pressing challenges and share strategies for navigating an ever-evolving procurement landscape.
We were excited to add our expertise in Scope 3 decarbonisation to the conversation, helping procurement teams tackle one of the most complex aspects of sustainability: creating low-carbon supply chains.
What we did at the event:
- Ian Hind, our Strategic Partnerships Manager, spent time networking with procurement leaders, discussing the importance of embedding carbon considerations directly into everyday procurement decisions. Together, they explored actionable steps for integrating sustainability into the supply chain and making it an achievable part of corporate climate goals. These conversations highlighted the growing need for companies to shift from merely understanding their emissions to actively reducing them at every stage of the supply chain.
