Emitwise attends CIPS Procurement & Supply Futures
In June, Emitwise attended the CIPS Procurement & Supply Futures conference in London. The event gathered 400+ procurement professionals to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing procurement and supply professionals today and explore the major economic, societal, and geopolitical forces shaping the procurement world.
We used our time at the event to discuss Scope 3 decarbonisation with industry leaders and innovators engaging in sustainable procurement.
What we did at the event:
- Ian Hind, our Strategic Partnerships Manager, networked with procurement professionals discussing embedding carbon into procurement decisions every day and how to hit your company’s climate goals
- We watched Mat Langley, Global Procurement Head, Sustainability at CBRE (an Emitwise partner), join Christophe Quiquempoix, VP of Sustainable Procurement at Schneider Electric, for a very insightful discussion on Procurement’s role in driving Scope 3 excellence.
