Dolby Uses Emitwise To Capture Higher Levels Of Supplier Data

Dolby has partnered with Emitwise to improve its data collection methods to help reach its emission targets. To achieve this, Dolby is incorporating third-party data, pre-filling emissions data, and analyzing suppliers’ SBTi progress.

This approach allows Dolby to access supplier-specific data without extensively engaging with multiple suppliers and validates the Scope 3 data while aligning it with regulations. Emitwise enables Dolby to segment suppliers by SBTi progress and other criteria and rate them using a customized scoring system.

This approach demonstrates how firms like Dolby are leveraging software tools to scale supplier engagement, maximize accessibility to emissions data, and empower suppliers to reduce emissions.
